"There are three investigations in design. The first is the search for structure. Its reward is discipline. The second is the search for specificity. This yields appropriateness. Finally, we search for fun, and we create ambiguity."
- Massimo Vignelli

Through my immersion in design study, I have learned a great deal in many areas. So many facets of design play critical roles in the final output of visual artifacts. Typography, visual thinking, structure, and the choice of media combine to convey the most complex or most simplistic messages. I feel my purpose as a designer is to continue the pursuit of knowledge and broaden my abilities in design, while educating others. Good design makes life easier and proves why literacy is so important to the future of our world.
